Touch Revolution are introducing the NIMble device to the US market via telecomms partners so you’ll see it later this year under various brands and probably with slight customisations. What they’re showing here is a prototype showing what it’s capable of. Which, it turns out, is quite a lot.

It’s best categorised as a VOIP smartphone for the home (I want one on my desk). Android powered, it features a capacitive (iPhone style) touch screen and Bluetooth. You may also end up seeing it with a webcam or phone handset attached – it depends what the partners want to do with it.

Very cool.
