The Garmin company has come up with a huge number of products over the past few years, providing a certain solution for just about every segment of the personal navigation solutions' market and even creating some completely new ones. That's also the case with the particular model you're about to see as follows, namely the nuvi 5000, a super-sized navigator designed especially for RV and truck drivers.
Given its target segment, it's no wonder that the display of the nuvi 5000 is quite an impressive one. Thus, the PND has been equipped with a 5.2-inch WVGA color TFT LCD touchscreen with auto dimming backlight, which delivers a 800 x 480 pixels resolution and a 11.4 x 6.9 cm viewing area.
